Cochrane Family: 1930s-1940s.
Elizabeth Apel, daughter of Heinrich Apel, was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1873. Her husband Archibald Cochrane was born in Ontario on 21 March 1872. They were married in 1900, though the date on their marriage certificate was forged to read 1899, due to Elizabeth having gotten pregnant out of wedlock. Their son Archibald Stanley Cochrane was born in 1900. He married Mildred “Millie” Hunter (born in 1905). They were wed in 1924.
